Eau Claire
Seymour Lions
&
Meals on Wheels...A Bit of
History
Our Eau
Claire Seymour Club became involved with
Meals-on-Wheels in 1987 after a presentation
at one of our meetings. Although our members
have been regularly delivering meals for
well over 20 years, many current members,
perhaps, do not know that this is one of our
club's service projects. Meals are picked
up at the LE Phillips Senior Center on
Bellinger Street with most routes in the 'in
and around downtown' area. Deliveries start
around noon on Tuesdays and can be completed
in approximately one hour. A
BIG THANK
YOU to current drivers, Lions Denny
Bohman, Bob Henning, Pat Casey, Bill O'Gara
& Mike Berg and former Lions Jerry Siler and
Bill Eisenbarth...as well as fill in driver
Jim Jamiska...and the many others, not named
here, who have helped over the past years.
If interested in
assisting, please contact Lion Denny Bohman
